Dr. Jennifer Morris graduated from OBU in 1995. After completing medical school at the University of Oklahoma, she undertook an internship and psychiatry residency at Griffin Memorial Hospital. Dr. Morris completed her board certification in 2004.
After working in private practice for six years, Dr. Morris launched the Transcranial Institute of Oklahoma in 2009 and shortly afterward founded Edmond Psychiatric Associates, LLC.
Dr. Morris practices general psychiatry, with particular focuses on treatment-resistant depression, depression associated with comorbid medical illnesses (including polycystic ovarian syndrome), attention deficit disorder, suboxone management (opiate detox), and transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) treatment and management.
She has delivered over 70 lectures to colleagues and peers regarding medication management, treatment, resistant depression, eating disorders, and attention deficit disorder.
Dr. Morris serves on the council of the Oklahoma Psychiatric Physician Association, currently as the chair of early career development; she also is a founding member of the O'Donohue-Shadid Society.
Dr. Morris served on the founding boards/advisory panels of two charitable mental health clinics and has participated in numerous medical mission trips to Central and South America.
In her free time, Dr. Morris enjoys running, scuba-diving, cheering on her OU football team, checking out the local cuisine, and hanging out with her Boston Terriers Dagny and Ragnar.
Dr. Morris is currently accepting new patients and is on a panel with several insurance plans, including Blue Cross/Blue Shield & Healthchoice. She sees patients ages 18 and up.
